Mango changes strategy. Its aim is to raise its sales by 30% in 2012, that is to say triple its best performance recorded during the last decade. The announcement by the fashion chain was somewhat surprised the industry, knowing that Mango is currently in an earlier phase of development, when compared to other major international groups such as Inditex and H & M.
To achieve its objective, Mango decided to break with its traditional policy of growth and focus on own stores rather than franchises that allowed him to win 107 countries.

Regarding the target set for 2012, Mango plans to open 300 stores later this year. If each of these establishments can sell one million euros per year, the company would retain a 20% growth. To this we must add the corresponding share for existing shops.
To achieve 30% of sales would require each new stores records of 1.5 million euros per year to a $ 450 million.
